Day 17

Sleep last night:
8 hours total (4 hours at night, 4 hours during the day)

Run 5k
[37:45. First time running 5k! The last time I tried was in April and I managed to run 3k before giving up. Also, I got a blister on my right foot after about 1.5k but I kept on running! (I wore my fivefingers, I’m not used to running so far in them.) My time might be slow but I’m happy I finally finished the whole thing.]


  • 3 egg plain omelette
  • 6 strips of coconut chicken
  • 1 tsp fish oil + multivitamin


  • Honey lemon chicken with spaghetti squash and broccoli
  • 1 cup of tea
  • Strawberries and blueberries topped with whipped cream
  • 1 tsp fish oil + multivitamin

Plain whipped cream (i.e. cream that has been whipped) tastes really different than the sweetened whipped cream you buy in stores. It’s not a bad different, it’s just a completely different type of topping. Fruit topped with plain whipped cream, to me, is more light and refreshing than fruit topped with sweetened whipped cream. Plus it’s so much fun to whip your own cream. 🙂
